Unable to save, unable to abandon quests

Since the 1.20 update I've run into two bugs that have prevented me putting much time into the game today.

The first bug is minor, but annoying. There are certain quests I can no longer abandon. So far only two quests have been bugged like this, and both of them have to do with scanning a Xenon ship, and a Xenon station.

The second bug is completely game-breaking for me. I'm able to save once, but then any other time I try to save the game the save option is greyed out. I've tried relaunching the game to see if it was an issue with Steam, but it clearly isn't.

did this ever fix for you cause I've got both the same issues, can't abandon a scan a xenon mission and now can't save either, I'm waiting for a bit to see if it'll auto save before going any further.
