A game breaking bug (repeatable)

If I'm on a moving walkway in the dock area of a station when I receive a message (for example if I dock right after shooting a criminal, then a bit later get the 'thank you' message), my character loses the ability to walk on the ground and instead starts floating in a random direction. Pressing shift+D to return to my ship only causes my character to quickly fly through the ship and continue floating as before. Once, I was able to get back into the captain's seat and undock, but as soon as I reach dock again and get up, my character starts floating again. The only fix is to reload a previous save.

You should load up that save, reproduce it, maybe save the game while drifting and attach it... erm put on a publicly accessible download site and link it here.
(Yeah that was a poke at the lack of attach feature in here... cmon, get with it)

I just had this bug 30 minutes ago, accidently saved over my good save in the hope that a load would fix it... It didn't.

The way i fixed it for me was this:

1. trying to get into the seat of my spaceship. Once i managed that after 10 minutes i flew to another station
2. Killed a criminal at that station and docked very quickly at the station right before the thank you message popped up.
3. Once i was docked i went out of the seat, floated for a little bit and suddenly landed on the ground just before the thank you message popped up.
4. Profit

I hope this helps anyone who comes here in the future.

For me the bug solved it self. Just waiting, after a while the charakter lands. Even if it is not in the normally reachable area. And then shift+d.
But it took me a while to accept this. Trying anything else did not help could not reach the seat of my ship.
