PSA: You can't transfer wares between docked ships. Only in space.

If you give the order to transfer wares the ships will both undock and then transfer the wares in space nearby. And sometimes you need to comm the pilots and tell them to proceed with the order before they do anything.

That's why it seems like the transfer wares command isn't working on stations.

Is this supposed to work like this Egosoft? Transferring wares between ships on stations has always been a thing.....

It also can't be done if one of the ships is piloted by yourself.

I do like how they handle the in space transfer without a transporter, but not being able to at stations is an oversight I would guess.

However, if you're piloting one of the ships yourself, you can still either eject or pick up the cargo yourself, and have the other ship do the corresponding action, so no worries there. Still, I don't understand why transferring cargo between ships at the same station isn't a thing.

I just want a simple menu to transfer wares between ships while docked. I hope they are working on something like that.
