Hpw do you get a docked ship out of a bay?

I have a Cerberus that has had a pilotless Discoverer go into storage and I cannot work out how to get it to come back to the launch pad. I have tried transferring service crew from the Cerb to the Discoverer, from a docked eclipse and an eclipse while docked at a station. Nothing seems to work. Has anyone else worked this out?

Did you try Shift+D and select the ship in question?

Have you tried accessing the terminal at the docking bay? The one right in front of where your ship lands. If all else fails, you could send a pilot to your docked ship and order it to undock.

press shift d then double click the ship you want and wait a little bit

There was a crewman standing in front of the terminal, and it was not interact-able.
