I am unable to play the game due to the fact the game does not detect nvidia 960M (4GB) on my laptop.
It also has Intel HD which detects, but totally ignores the nvidia, even though latest drivers are installed.

Incorrect Display Adapter Detected
Hi guys,
I am unable to play the game due to the fact the game does not detect nvidia 960M (4GB) on my laptop.

Try disabling the Intel graphics device in Device Manager. Also be aware that sometimes it may look like it's using the wrong device when in fact it isn't. Tools that can show you GPU utilisation can help show whether this is happening.

I'm having the same issue. Disabling the Integrated Graphics Card makes the game crash. It simply doesn't open, just redirect me to this issue after a crash https://www.egosoft.com:8443/jira/browse/X4-18.
That's really bad, I can't play the game right now after the update. It was working all fine last night. I barely get 15 fps on the integrated graphics card, while I have a 1070 sitting there.
