x4 Foundations ~ pilot actions

i can't seem to do anything with my pilots but ask them to join my squad.

i opened the tutorial to see what i was doing wrong and when i got to the part 'click on fly to option' i had to stop because that option wasn't there.

is my game bugged or am i missing some software or is it right in front of my face? [best place to hide]
