X4 itself has a lot of potential, but also a lot of bugs to fix and changes to implement.
Where do I start best?
The captains flying stubbornly through stations. IThe opponents AI behaves questionably. I have not tried the trade part yet, but I do not expect to much from the AI.
What is a big problem for me, are the impossible missions "talk to someone, but he just says hello or pilot; search for containers and find it outside the range".
And what is with the DPS of our weapons? There is no good desription of what they can. Or am i blind?
The goal in missions also disappears from the map and HUD.
Personally, I also find the optics of the ships are not as nice as in X3. It does not look variegated.
Maybe I'm wrong, but space seems pretty empty and quiet to me.
what is positiv in my oppinion:
- nice graphic
- i enjoy the new travelmode
- i love it when ships dock on a station and i can look to that
- the design of the ship trading room is great
- the aspect to fly as a passenger in your own ship
- the option to optical change the parts of your ships is nice, just wish more weapons

And last a wish from me, even if it's a sandbox game, I'd like to have some story. As an example, go to war or subsistence in research. That as a chain mission. Missions like X3 to reach some other goals than your own.
For me i take a break of that game and hope for the next patches.
But all in all, as I said, I see a lot of potential and for now i want to say thank you Egosoft. I know later i enjoy this game many hours
