ship control issues

game version: current steam 1.1 german ?
no mods
used the game start with tutorial acess - dont remember which that would be - gave me that antique "elite" ship.

the problem at hand: the ship controls are damaged. acceleration usually moves the little slider - now it just stays at the zero acceleration point and only jumps to the full accel point when pressing the button. accel immedialtelay stops when not pressing the button. and using shifgt+1 to engage travel mode doesnt work at all.
usually, when spinning the ship lengthwise results in the ship autocorrecting its posture - not so anymore.

please excuse my weird english - naval english isnt really my forte.

any help to whats going on would be nice - thx.

found a fix: stepped into spacesuit an got back into ship.
everything is back to normal now.
