So....... im confused. scale plate green are pirates? Or a teladi spin off? Those elf looking chicks are split? The little pet lizards are paranid? I skipped rebirth... Whats the lore im missing here? Where are the terrans?

The gate network was shut down by some big event and recently-ish reconnected after quite a long time of being down. So not all Empires are back an things are a bit re-arranged. Like for now we only have Argon, Teladi and Paranid ships and stations. But also have Split NPCs wandering around. No Terrans for now.

Also yes, there are different factions making up each race now. Like there's the Argon Federation and the Antigone Republic, for one example.

thnx for the reply. So do we know the factions politics? Argon and antigone are both "argons" race wise? Are the antigone pirates? Or just a copy and paste argon federation? are they at war?

Argon are allies with Antigone, Paranid Godrealm and I guess which ever is the Teladi one(s). Teladi I'm not fully sure on, except the Scale Plate somethings are pirates. The heretic Paranid are seemingly hated by everyone, with the Argon helping the Paranid Godrealm with the war against them. And of course the Xenon and Kha'ak are threats to all too.

Kinda all I know so far.

Do you by chance know how to board other vessels? I have 2 marines in my elite as passangers and i've brought the teladi vultures shields down... dont see a piracy option here...

I haven't heard anyone mention boarding until now, only that the marines will be needed for taking over capp'ed ships (of ejected pilot).

Thats a good question I hope someone answers about actual boarding, I never got it figured in X3.
