Can't save game

Sorry if this is a double post as I never saw my first one.

As the subject says. Tried F5 and esc menu save slot with message "save game failed" every time.

Can't play without it.

Any help is appreciated

As I answered in your original post:

I'm afraid you've not given us much information to work with. What actually happens when you try to save? Is there an error message? Does it crash? Or does it not seem to try and save at all. What version of the game are running and where did you buy it? What system do you have? How much disk space is available on the drive with your Documents folder?

However this time you've given us an error message. That message usually means that either there's not enough disk space, or you don't have rights to write to the savegame folder, or that your AV software is preventing it. Try making an exception for your AV software for that folder to at least eliminate that, and also check the space on your disk.

It can't be space, brand new hard drive 3 TB.

Not sure how to do the exception but will look into it and reply back

Hello there,

Same problem here, i can't save my game anymore :

F5 doesn't respond at all, no error, just nothing, and like you can see le save button is grey, i can't interact with him.

- Probable source of the bug (in my opinion) :
A mission who ask me to scan a XENON group M class to 75%, lead me to a sector, and in this sector no more yellow indication, i leaved the sector for testing : same thing, no indicators at all.
So i tried to cancel the mission : nothing happened, the task stay there, i think it's from this point i was unable to save... I reloaded a one-hour backup and everything worked again.

(forgive me for the probable mistakes, English is not my mother tongue, I did my best)

Edit : For info the game is on an SSD with 80Gb of space.

Your problem isn't the same. The OP got an error message; in your case the save button isn't available.

If you're able to reproduce the sequence of actions that resulted in the save button not being available, we'd be very interested to hear about it.

Of course I can't give my savegame But my assumption for what it is worth: it is that my target (Xenon ship N) that I had to scan was killed, and the mission was not canceled by itself and it is found blocked, it is what seems to have also blocked the save function.

Maybe to reproduce the error it will be necessary that I find a mission of scan and that the target dies by another entity.
