[1.1 Current Version] NPC pilots not gaining skill when flying

It is my understanding that your pilots should be gaining experience as they fly but it is definitely not working.

I was playing around with experiences.xml in Libraries. I edited it and made it so they would 100% of the time increase their skill when doing things like trading and even when just idling. I left the game on while I slept for 8 hours and had three merchants doing galaxy trading. Woke up and no change at all to their experience and rank. They are not leveling up and also seminars aren't implemented yet.

Can confirm: 27 hours in game, none of my crews have earned experience.

Same here, have a sector trader and several miners who have been working continuously for almost 24 hours with no changes. Also have multiple copies of every seminar but can't use them.

Slight workaround, you can get much better recruits from headhunting onboard capital ships. Scan will reveal everyone onboard under the personnel tab and show their skills. Got a couple 4-stars this way.
