When I set travel mode, heading towards some far target 300km+ away and switch to map mode it stops me, decelerating to 0. It would be nice if that wasn't the case, right? A chunk of this game is going to involve traveling great distances, if I'm heading some place please let me pull up the map and manage my empire or at least take stock of what's going on around me without stopping me in my shoes. I'd prefer the small chance of crashing into something vs being forced to sit at the cockpit for longer journeys.
Maybe I've missed it and you can set long distance nav targets for yourself and step out of the cockpit while your pilot does it for you? Any advice is welcome if it's fixable right now.
Otherwise, great game so far!
