How to reach other stations faster??? Strugling to finish a mission for the last hour

Traveling between stations take forever...boost is very short, how to activate seta pls ? ANd how to rotate the external camera around target object or my own ship ? What is the point of external camera if i can't admire my own ship or the target ???

I don't think you have SETA installed on your ship by default (you'll need to buy it somewhere). BUT, that's okay:

Hit shift-1 on your keyboard (hold shift while pressing 1). This activates the travel drive. This will slowly accelerate you to high speeds. Press shift-1 again to shut the drive off. It's an excellent way to travel long distances very fast. Once you have SETA, you can use it as well, though you may not need to use them both at the same time.

Are you hitting shift + 1, to activate travel mode?

F2 once will open the external view behind your ship, pressing it a 2nd time will put you in free external view, where you can rotate and zoom your view.
