Hello.
I would like to understand in depth how exactly does the auto miner AI work.
To be more specific, I was wondering how would they behave if I put them in a sector, around which there is no place to sell the wares (Talking about 5 maybe 10 jump gates).
How would they start behaving after filling up their storage? Would they simply get stuck, or would they leave their "designated" area and simply look for a place where they can sell?.
This brings me to another question:
Do they explore the mining areas on their own? Or do I have to do it myself (Using resource probes and so on.) Does this have impact and make them more efficient?
Does exploring stations and looking for potential sellers make them more efficient also? This is tied to the first question. If me as a played did not discover any station that is buying the mined wares, would they get stuck, or would they look for such station on their own and explore?
How exactly do autominers work?

Re: How exactly do autominers work?
So if you don't give them a big enough range, they'll first message you asking for more orders, then wait if you give them none. I've had mine explore areas themselves, w/ no needed probes. Sats around stations will help the AI pick the best station around to sell the raw goods at.Accuracy wrote: ↑Sat, 1. Dec 18, 22:02 Hello.

Hope that helped
