1.10 BUG Docked in Mid Air, Cannot get out of ship

Game start being played.
Young Gun

Exact nature of the problem, where and when it occurs and what you were doing at the time.
Docked mid air and am unable to get out of the ship, it keeps looping me back to the top of the stairs.
Additional Problem: This has happended a few times already, You will lose control of you mouse/keyboard after undocking and then immediatly re-docking. This is the first time it has actually docked in mid air.
Usually I would have to hit escape to gain control of the ship again.

Reproduction: Dock, select undock then immediately press SHIFT+D to redock. Does not matter what station, I was on the HQ for the photo.
Additional Info: Docking Mk2 Extenstion installed, ship used was the starter elite from young gun start, had a pilot on board (if that helps)

EDIT:
After reloading game from a quick save I am still in mid air with the door open, So if you want the save file, I can email it to you, just PM me.
I can command the ship myself and take over the seat to redock but the door and staris are wide open, or I can breath in space.

We believe this may be a similar issue to people finding elevator doors left open. At least in this save, the ship was functional and could fly around. The only bug is the incorrect animation state. Falling out the ship and being put inside is expected behaviour for something like this.

I've informed those involved that this may be another instance of that other bug.
