First of all, similarly to many other game owners, the problem began right after installing the game, pressing the game launcher did not result in anything but an instant CTD, in my case with no error or warning or even a dump file in the game folder.
Since yesterday ive been trying to follow several workarounds to get the game working but so far no luck:
-updated and reinstalled nvidia drivers.
-installed the most recent nvidia beta driver 417.17 (currently sitting on it).
-never had any amd card, either way tried to look for the .json file but didnt find one.
-updated the Vulkan api to the most recent RT and SDK (pretty sure its conpatible and working as intended).
-made sure no file or folder related to x4 foundations was either "read only" or in any way compressed after the instalation.
-dont have any other peripherals plugged in apart from the mouse.
-and finally tried to change the config file from fullscreen to borderless, which for some reason finally resulted in an error being presented, dump files being created (both included below) and getting redirected to your crash reporting webpage.

My system (no way to upgrade in the foreseable future):
-Macbook Pro (Mid-2012)
-Windows 10 Home (64 bit)
-Nvidia GeForce GT 650M (500 MB VRAM)
-Intel Core i7-3615QM CPU @ 2.30GHz (8 CPUs)
-16 GB RAM
-Main drive is a SSD
Whats strange about this error is that i've not seen it being posted by anyone else either in the forums or on the webpage we get redirected to after getting a CTD, which I sadly suspect it may be due to the low VRAM in my system (I was kinda expecting to be able to run it badly on the lowest settings since it was Vulkan compatible, losing that hope now).
Think I have any hope of getting it running?
