I am having an issue where my character was moving slowly forward all the time when on the ground. It seemed to fix itself but I managed to reproduce the same problem using the map UI while in space.
I use a Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS along with Logitech pedals, but also swap over to mouse/keyboard for some other UI actions regularly. I've found that when I use the hotas flying around and then click the keyboard M to open the map, as soon as I begin to move the mouse around the map simply continues to drift slowly once I stop moving the mouse to try to click on something. When I move my joystick it starts to move the map and releasing it makes everything stay still. But the moment I move the mouse again there's a drift from then on again.

Yeah, I'm getting the same, but haven't figured out what's triggering it since it's not all the time, or at least wasn't.

By unplugging various controller one at a time you should be able to find where the constant input is coming from and then check its calibration and deadzones etc. Also be careful of stuck buttons and off-centre sliders etc.

Thank you Alan, that has fixed it so far for me. For anyone else go under settings and turn off "Gamepad mode" - it's before you actually dive in to set buttons in general/platform/etc.
Now i can use hotas + mouse/keyboard on the map without the issue.
