Auto Pilot has become nearly useless

Remember in X3 where you could dock at a station, open the map choose a station that you want to do to, click the auto pilot and your ship would undock fly to the new station and dock? Enter X4 where you sit at a station open the map right click on a station you want to go to and... see none of the auto pilot commands, so instead you click on the station and then shift+A hear betty say auto pilot engaged then remain docked.. so you manually undock fly upwards, once again open your map and click on the station you want to go to press shift+A and nothing happens. So Open the map once again right click on station you want to go to choose the guidance to target, press shift + a and watch as your ship flies towards your target (never using flight mode only basic bitch mode) then stops 40km from the station and turns off auto pilot... shouldnt x4 improve on the X series not take steps back at every turn?

Use your copilot (which is why he/she's there) get out of the captains chair after you select where you want to go if you care to. Mines even used the travel mode so it wasnt slow. Also IDK why your having to re-select guidance every time, that might be a glitch. When i select a destination, it stays until I reach it or change it. you can also press Shift +1 while in AP and it wont pop you out.

I swear I tried to do that in every way but sit the pilot down, and then give the order to go to a station.

So many tutorials needed with this game. Here I was starting to think that having pilots was only for when you had to have a ship come pick you up.
