Hi Egosoft Tech support.
I know it's new and expect a few bugs but not these kind i'm getting.
I'm noticing many invisible items in the game play, NPC's bodies (some just the clothes show), some menu lines listings not showing, Stations flooring/most super structure and consoles no show, my ships hull from inside when docked no show. (I've tried all graphic setting lower are worse)
Have seen a large Freighter stuck half way through station dock floor and like past X games they fly through station like they are not there but some do get stuck like i said.
Other Bugs are on asking to dock at the Teladi trade station i'm redirected to dock outside the station to the right and then asked to build the dock, when targeting an enemy ship the info pop-up stay in view blocking my firing till enemy is dead.
When in the engineering room i assume we should be able to do something but there is no engineer or interaction in there at all if so seems a waste of game coding, if we are to do things in there WHAT (cant find info on it).

Re: Invisible in-game items plus other bugs
It would help a lot if you provided the information requested at the top of the forum, because without it we are left with little more than guesswork to help you.
Regarding the missing bodies, these are normally a sign that your graphics card doesn't have enough memory for the graphics settings you are using. If you only have 2GB then that's probably not enough to run the game properly at all, but if you have more then you can try lowering the settings, particularly the texture quality and the antialiasing.
The missing engineer may be fixed in the 1.1 update. Take a look and let us know.
The other items are trickier to diagnose and may require a video or two.

Hi CBJ
Sorry about further info have no way of doing videos at this time as i'm working on that.
Would a save game do for most part if it shows issues, If so will add one when at it worse.
Mean time for some reason can hire anyone to crew an abandon ship nothing is working in the hiring menu.
Fyi i did try a couple of mode that just popped up, in their folders in the extensions, game don't start though mods out of folders as instructed (via mods author installing info) in extensions game play but mods not shown as working so not using any mods.

I was using a 760 geforce same issues I upgraded today to the 1060 because it's on sale at best buy 269 and running the game on ultra settings with no issues
you have to have at least a 3gb card for this game to work properly.

Hi Wolfvaine
Nice you fixed same issue at a cost of a new video card, though shouldn't have to be like that seem games companies are in league with video card companies as to make games that's forcing us to buy ever increasing priced video cards, i'm in no financial position to buy a new card and if i did i'd have to upgrade my PC power to run a higher card, and like you i have a 750 2gb card and should be able to run the game at low to medium setting according to game requirements.
Though these issues are there i'd expected the graphics to be low in quality not missing maybe worse on moving parts but static not showing, and i'm running far more graphical games than this one and i have no issues what so ever even with some mods.
This issue was in X3R at start and though i was running a 6 series card at the time of release at low setting the game was ok not perfect but 90% invisible issues had gone, so i'm tending to say at this time by what egosoft said at X3R release it was flawed this game is the same flawed till the dev's fixes/patches catch up with our bug reports.
Happy gaming out there.

I logged in first time to come and report same bug. I am writing here instead since it is same problem. Yes I have a 2gb card (geforce 860) but I did not have problem like this before with more demanding games. I can understand frame drop but this makes the game unplayable after 10-20 minutes.I want to hope that Egosoft will have a fix for this soon.

We may be able to improve the situation for players with 2GB graphics cards at some point in the future, but there are no guarantees. That is why we set the minimum requirements for the game to include 3GB of video memory.

Re: 1.0 HF1 BUG Invisible in-game items plus other bugs - Unsuitable graphics card
Hi CBJ and all
To add to this Where i brought this game the requirements did not say a thing about 3.Gb graphic cards so don't blame the player/buyer for their issues EGOSOFT screwed up again.
Egosoft fully know that the major majority of graphic cards are 2.Gb and nearly all new PC have 2.Gb cards fitted most of them are just in some players price range i certainly cant buy anything above what i have, Why did you specify 3.Gb cards are egosoft getting commission on every extra 3.gb upwards graphic card sold.
Like the other player said he and i expect some Fps or a little lag but up to 60% invisibility, if thats the case Egosoft can give me my money back and get all the flack they deserve for sending out crap like that did when they released X3R, seem they learnt nothing.
This is now the third game released in as many weeks that should have never been released till they got all aspects of running them right, Fallout 76 big fail in all aspects, Battlefield V historical incinerate and politically wrong, and this game to demand higher graphic usage fully aware that wrong.
Do the gave dev's like pissing the buyers of their game off or just taking our money and run sticking their finger up at us by not fixing a thing.
