Random mission problem - where's the shield console?

Yo folks,

I picked up a random mission from one of those scanned transmissions. I had to fl to a station and hack the shield console.
Step 1 is fly to zone, done.
Step 2 is dock on space station (and it highlights a specific dock, not sure if that's relevant or not), done.
Step 3 when I leave my ship is "hack the shield console".

Problem is there is no quest marker, so I have no idea what console it is im supposed to hack. I've been all over this station and I can't find anything marked. I've tried interacting with random consoles but 99.99% are just there for flavour and are not interactable.

Did I just get a bugged mission or am I missing something?

I'm having the same issue. The only terminal I could find to interact with was where my ship is docked but did not notice any station shield interaction tabs?

Edit: I just looked again at the mission briefing, on my mission I must craft a "security slicer" at a craft station in order to access the shield interface. LOL I should have paid more attention to the details

I'm just guessing here but maybe go to the door and when you get the location select for managers office etc, is there one for engineering? Try there.

I still have the same problem.

There is the station manager bureau, the tech room, the trade desk and my ship hangar on the station but i can't find the shield console.

Somebody can cive me an advice?

Does increasing reputation give you access to more areas? Maybe that console is in one of those that are not accessible yet?..

I think I saw a shield control panel in one of the videos in a Security Office. Whether that's accessible to everyone, I don't know.

well, first mission i do since i waited a couple of days for the first patches and it is somehow broken.

1. either it is standing related if you see the security office or not
2. the mission tells you to do it with the wrong tool (maybe not security slicer?)
3. the mission sends you to a station without security office, but that wouldn't make any sense

i will just set it inactive and do something else

Yes but shield and turret consoles are in the security office.
I found a security office in a shipyard, but my mission station was some random small station and there was no security office existent.

I guess it is just bugged.
