Claiming ships,too cumbersome.

Ok, i understand that X3,X3TC was helluva easy and maybe something need to change.
The current way of doing this is, IMHO, too cumbersome, inefficient and take too much time.
Actually the method of acquiring it is very nice.

Correct me if im wrong:

1)You need to have a pilot every time with you in order to not go back to any station, search for NPCs, hire them just for when you need them.
2)Yo cant send the guy from your ship to the empty ship. Why not? You go to the your new ship and the IA follows you in the older ship.
3)Then both of you need to spend time going do a Wharf / Dock to sell the ship.
4)Sell and then you go back to your old ship.
5)Dont know what happens with the pilot after.

If you have a larger ship that can hold more crew, you can fully crew your ship and use them. You don't need to personally talk to every crewmember you want to recruit. I think if you can go to the upgrade screen at a station you can mass recruit (Not sure if this can only be done at a shipyard/wharf/equipment dock or not. I remember doing it at an equipment dock

Shipyard, wharf and EqD all seem to allow you to upgrade ship w/ crewmembers.
You can send over pilots to other ships while they are docked. If you're talking about when you claim, just have a marine in your ship and that'll be your new pilot. you can order your claimed ship directly through the map to go to a EqD/SY/W.

I just can't wait until I get a ship with a large S ship capacity, just fly around in it and dock all my captures inside it, assign it pilots there.
