Cannot map right ctrl

Hello,

Cannot map right ctrl to primary laser. When I click on the right ctrl button to map the field it remains blank.

Version and language - 1.0 English
Game is not modified using any third party scripts or mods.
Game start being played. - Doesn't matter in this case. The options are chosen before gamestart, but for the completeness sake The Young Gun
Exact nature of the problem, where and when it occurs and what you were doing at the time. - Modifing keyboard layout for left hand use - under options - tried it before starting game and while in-game neither worked.
