Joystick Woes

I have a Thrustmaster T Flight HOTAS.

I went through the tutorial and I understand the principles, but the game doesn't seem to be registering my Joystick button presses. Before I toddle off to the support forum (again), is that model even supported?

I'm using the same stick, and yes it works in X4. I had to configure and calibrate it first in Win10. Control Panel/Devices and Printers/T-Flight Hotas X/Game Control Settings/Properties/Settings/Calibrate. Then make sure it is plugged in Before launching X4. Configure using the ingame Controller Tutorial.

Restarting the game did it for me.
