Joystick rattleing in XT/XBtF

I recently bought a new joystick because the power connector went bad on my Logitech Strike Force 3D and hence there is no force feedback so I went with a force feedbackless stick. Anyway my question is this is there a way to make XT stop a crazy jerking when I shoot big guns when I don't have a FF stick
