1.0 HF1 BUG Falling through ship

Stuck in a loop falling through my ship after accidentally getting out of the pilots seat mid flight.
Pressing Shift+D resets my position in front of the panel and then I proceed to start falling again.
Tried restarting the game, no change, still falling.

Any solutions?
