How do I sell ships?

I may be dumb or blind...

I've got a second ship. It's built in the same Wharf my first ship is docked at so I can walk over. It's crewed. I get the guy of the seat and "fire him". And take over the new ship.

My old ship now sits at that wharf, with no crew. Which is perfectly fine since I don't want it anymore. But I can't find an option to sell it anywhere in the menus, map or dialoge...?

I had the same problem.

In the Map select 'Property Owned', Select the Ship

Next Locate the Shipyard (Still in the Map), Right-Click the Shipyard and select Sell Ship.

sorry to back track a step...when you bought your ship how long did you wait for it?

i just ordered one but cant find it anywhere, dont see it under owned property and cant find any updates if its still being build

In the list of property owned if it is under construction it will be at the bottom with a timer green is OK, yellow need materials, also you can click the shipyard and you will see at their menu at bottom also a green icon with a timer that tell you how long It will take, if the timer is in yellow( like in the other option) is because the shipyard doesn't have the materials and it is waiting.
