vulture sentinel has no signal to hack ownership
just capped one. and ... well you can wander around the ship and there is no signal (yes i am using the scan mode) to override the ownership and enter it.

Same with a Peregrine (the one surrounded with mines). No signal anywhere on the ship. And if you use a marine to capture it, you can't enter it with your spacesuit, it says "docking denied".

same thing with tern sentinel.
XD you cant claim it as there is no interaction point with your space suit.
ego, did you guys tested capping small/medium tradeships?

Re: vulture sentinel has no signal to hack ownership
I've spent the last two hours trying to get access to a Vulture Sentinel.
Is it not possible?
I've been flying all over wtih scan mode on in the suit,
Trying to figure out how to capture it with a marine? I have a Marine Recruit onboard but how do I get him to board?

Yeah I figured this out last night as well, after spending well over an hour in the space suit trying to capture a Tern Sentinel. Hey, at least I am highly skilled at space walking now!
As long as you are at the helm of your ship with a Marine as part of the crew, you can just select the owner-less ship (which needs to be close by) and right click, there should be a "Claim Ship" option in the drop down. The marine will then launch in a boarding pod and take the ship for you
