Weapons speed mods

I've noticed a few different mods that increase speed and/or range of guns, but they all seem to require unpacking and renaming various files. Is there a mod or script for increasing weapon speed where you just have to drop the file into "Scripts" or "t" folder? Or is that not possible? Many thanx

ive never heard of one, but you know it isnt that hard to unpack all of that stuff and its worth it

Someone was cool enuff to pm me and help me out with this. Alot of helpful people on this forum. You are probably right about not being that hard to unpack and such, just a little harder and a bit confusing for me I will read up on how to unpack and read some tutorials on scripting and take your advice cause I believe it's worth it also. Thanx
