Albion Skunk?

Post by captainradish »

I'm honestly curious if the Pride of Albion Skunk is going to be in X4. Despite getting saddled with it in XR, she's an interesting ship and honestly I wouldn't mind flying her again. I did prefer the model that was used in X3, though.

If it is in X4 then I'll make my absolute priority to eradicate it from the universe.

That's not very nice. :D

It's an oddball ship, for sure. I liked using it in X3 as a heavy recon corvette.

Likelihood is low at first, I think. Lore-wise it wouldn't make sense as the sectors featured in Rebirth aren't supposed to be connected to the ones we'll be in in X4 (or at least, they're somewhere super far away in a corner of the network that X4's factions don't know about.)

It's a little more likely to get the mod treatment, though, since it already has a cockpit and interior that maps more or less correctly to its exterior. Some changes would need to be made to get it to accept X4's modules/weapons/drives correctly, and the landing gear/drive mounts would need to be able to animate correctly, so... still a lot of work, but at least there's a starting point.

I kinda liked it in Rebirth, TBH, but I always wished my copilot was taller and hairier.

However, it would totally make sense because there were multiple of them built (but as the encyclopedia says, it is unknown how many).

I would rather see the X-proto instead.

X-proto? Do you mean the X-Perimental?

I'm with mr.WHO, if it's in there it's probably getting unceremoniously blown up.

I...don't know. I never played the first handful of X games (started with X2) so I'm not sure what the X-Proto is. I'm assuming it's not the X-Perimental shuttle: http://www.egosoft.com/x/xnews/gfx/x37_ ... 04_001.jpg

But I just linked you the video where they straight up call it that xD

Yeah. Yes, it's the same ship. For clarity.

I totally agree and would do the same.... even launch recon mission to lacate it and destroy it. To me it was the worst ever ship made in the entire x serie.

if its in well it will be a good target pratice because it is all that piece of trash is good for.
