1st: Stock Exchange question.
I know that they said they had no plans to have a stock exchange in the game at launch.
And i know it had Mixed views from the community when it was in X3:TC. But would it be possible to get a stock exchange in future DLC? Cuz ied LOVE to have one & happily pay for a 20$ DLC to get one. Call me bizarre but i had a absolute BLAST playing with the stock exchange gaining and losing money in X3 TC. its actually one of the reasons i got it to begin with...
2nd: Mining Question.
In the trailer i saw ice and lots of rocks, and they mentioned crystals. So its a safe bet that they will be coming back. But what about the gases? Plasma, Ions, Hydrogen? And what about silicone? Will those be coming back?? And/or will their be other types of mine-able resources?

I've actually answered this one a few times already, but I'm aware that answers can get lost quite easily. No, this won't be in the game, and is quite unlikely to be added in a DLC, for the reasons explained in the FAQ at the top of the forum. If i may ask a question based on mining.
Theres alot of talk about mining with ships but are there still going to be the old silicon and ore mine stations you can build on asteroids like in past games yes?
As dunno about anyone else but id rather just find a rich asteroid like i used to in x2 and plonk down a station and have it become my ore mine etc and be done with it and have a steady flow of ore instead of manually mining with ships.
But i have a strange feeling they are gone in x4 in favour for some reason that only ships should be doing it. Hence the cap ship mining ships seen in a sotd.

Edit: I just realized my mistake.. Ive been saying (silicone) instead of (silicon).. The E makes a big difference XD... DEEERRRRRPPPP.
As for the stock exchange, I'd like to put a call out to all the modders who may be thinking about making one of these.
If you're interested in making a stock exchange mod. Please contact me as i trade socks IRL 3-7 times per week, and ied like to offer my knowledge to make a more realistic, detailed and immersive approach to how stock trading is done.
It should be relatively simple to implement but it will require a short explanation of how each of the main components work.
Things that will need to be modeled will be stock Info. Such as Market cap, Float, Volume and Volatility.
As well as the types of trade orders. Buy/sell, Limit buy/Limit sell, Stop loss, Trailing stop, Etc..
Their are many other aspects and options, but they shouldn't matter and don't need to be added or focused on. Just those core ones i'v listed.
