Mapping aids for writers

I'm writing a fantasy novel and I couldn't get a handle on the geography of the world so I looked around for some mapping programs and found this. It's aimed primarily at Games Masters but it's great for wannabee novelists too. Depending on what add-ons you buy you can design everything from full fractal worlds, on through zoomable detailed maps, down to city and dungeon layouts. It has a sci-fi component too, but i haven't tried it out yet.

Anyway - it's an interesting tool the writers and gamers among you might like. Let's hope it's powerful enough to compensate for my feeble artistic skills.
