Does anybody know how the destruction of weapon systems is calculated in OOZ combat?
Somehow whenever i send my ship in combat it's weapon systems drop to <4 immediately and it becomes unable to apply any damage at all.

Too bad.
I reworked the gangrene chaser but 1 thing i can't fix.
If it goes to combat with another ship it becomes useless pretty fast cause it has very few turrets. I doubled the amount, but it's still very low. And u can't compensate that with more hp or better shields, cause the script doesn't seem to care about those. It just kills weapon systems. I guess is something like the more weapon mods the enemies has the more die on your end every cycle.
Funny part: One time all weapon mods were destroyed before the shield was touched. The enemy wasn't even in range but the script already started destroying weapon systems.
I gotta figure out how this stuff is calculated.
