(QUES 2) Adding all vanilla weapons to one slot (from 5 to 1)

With the successful test of the mod that replaces the Skunk with the Triath Gladius and its different 'looks' depending on weapons installed, I would like to look into the matter further to replace the different weapon models with different small ship models. If no weapons are installed, a small xs-ship will serve as a placeholder. The 'flying car' could be a suitable candidate that could be hidden inside the hull of all bigger S-type ships.

The Skunk Overhaul mod removes 2 weapon slots, making the Skunk a fighter with 3 slots instead of 5.

How would I change the 5 slots to just 1 and make all weapons available (Mining Laser, Impact Hammer, Repeater) for that one weapon slot ?

That way, I could make some unique weapons reference to a 3d model of a small fighter instead of to a weapon model (with different health-hit values). Engine trails could be added to the weapons as far as I know. Engine glow would not be active, but hey, X-rebirth was not meant to allow you to fly different ships.

Another solution might be to 'attach' 3 different small ship models to the 3 engines (giving you a fighter (sidewinder engine), an all rounder (balanced engine), a bomber (overcharged engine) and a special ship for that special craft-able engine) but since everything is based on the bal_mk1 engine I cannot see an immediate solution walking that path, although it should be possible in theory.

As for the question regarding the weapons slots ammendment, I just need a little clue on where to look, I can probably find the difference then between the skunk overhaul mod and vanilla and work from there once I know where to look.
