Is possible actually to make a script that player can order to a captain: "Dock n park there until I need you again" behavior? (like in X3AP and Player HQ)

I know that is not possible with the game stations dock, but in a custom tweaked dock in a modded station?

i dont see any problem with that. except for L/XL Ships where docking options (not parking) are heavily limited (only Shipyards have them, and they are needed for a specific purpose)

dont see any point there - the ship woulnt be protected by the stations shields afaik, they cannt flee immeiately if necessary (undocking first) and also their turrets are disabled while docked i think.. you would basically make them more vulnearable instead of protecting them..
