With the upcoming 4.0 release, chances are some mods will be messed up.
I was able to do it in the past, as the option "Do not update" was available then.
Now, I just checked and that option is gone. Only 2 options are available (update and only update when I launch game).
Since I now play a mod, how to prevent Steam from updating X-Rebirth?
Sorry if this has been asked before, I did browse the forum, but could not find the answer.
How to prevent Steam from auto-updating X-Rebirth?

I'm using the "only update at game start" option. That way, when there is a new update, this will be displayed next to the game name in your library and you have the chance to switch to offline mode, before starting the game. Additionally I limited automated updates to a certain timeframe at night, when I'm rarely online. See the Steam Settings -> Downloads section for that option.

Thanks, that's what I need.X2-Illuminatus wrote:I'm using the "only update at game start" option. [EDIT] Where is that "Steam Settings -< Downloads" section? I can't find it.
[EDIT2] OK found it. It only allows that in adult accounts.
