Beta 4.5 and Capital Ship Bridge Mod

I haven't visited X Rebirth for a few weeks but upon coming back today I find an update to Bets 4.5 has been applied.
There are quite a few changes but one seems to have caused me to loose the ability to manage my stations from the ships bridge. I can see the stations but the communication selection buttons including the bottom bar are missing.
Is this likely to be a bug in the mod, the beta or my error?
