300 Food wares devries...... Stuck Capital Ship shipyard (another topic.... yes)

Just got into the campaign of Rebirth with 3.61 and I don't see why I can't transfer the wares that were sold to me and COLLECTED by my Construction Vessel to a container ship.

Or why I am able to purchase and ADD cargo drones to my Construction Vessel for that matter to transfer wares, if they cannot be used? - Seems self defeating and a waste of money.

I would love to use my Rahanas... But its stuck in the Devries Ship building yard attempting to have the a third shield generated upgraded to it. And not save game editing is allowing that sucker to regain menu commands to where I can ask it to follow me again (they just stay greyed out, even though it has no orders).

In the past CVs were too cost-effective as traders so the fix that stopped making station construction more expensive was to prevent their use as traders by blocking their Sell option. I don't remember seeing it stated by Egosoft by my impression is that we are allowed to Buy things with CVs in order to continue to allow players to stock up on construction wares before the CV deploys. If you buy too much or the wrong things, the Transfer Ware order can be issued to a Trader to remove surplus from CVs.

You should be able to do this, although perhaps you need to issue the order to the Trader rather than the CV (I can't remember). What wares are you trying to transfer and can the Trader carry that type of ware? Do they have cargolifter URVs and room for wares?

Ships can take a minute or two to fully undock and be able to receive orders again. If it is taking longer, there's a bug that might be the cause. There's a recent thread with suggestions like "try changing sector" and "try saving and reloading while in the other sector" but I can't find it at the moment.
