[X3:AP/LUV] Steam controller woes

Anyone have any idea why its not detecting the steam controller properly, it's behaving as if it doesn't detect it as an xinput device when it should be

It doesn't because Litcube either didn't want or reused controller support within his own personal mod that he shared. More here.
