Opening map or trade panel crashes X Rebirth - solved by Steam verify.

After a load, when I open the map or the trade panel the game crashes. If I go to empty space and try to open the map, it works. I can then return to a zone, open the map and the game works just fine. If I reload and try to open the map in zone the game crashes. I am playing on a game started with 2.50. Anyone experiencing this problem?

i havent heard of this before.. the debuglog may provide more hints if you could post it..

I want to point out that I have had this error only post patch 3.60
The game worked fine with patch 3.53 and now if I open the map for the first time in sector I get a crash.

I shold mention that the game crashes even if I disable all the mods...

Removing the mods may not help if you try to load a savegame that was created while they were installed.

From the looks of the errors, however, I suggest you try performing a file verification in the Steam client as it looks like your installation may be incomplete or corrupt.

A validation of the files with steam removed the problem.
