Steam notifications of new comments

Anyone know how to get Steam to tell you when someone leaves a comment ?

Hi,

In my case, Steam notifies me every time someone leaves a comment on one of my mods.
The notifications arrive on my Steam account and are visible when I open the Steam client.
It also notified me when you answered to one of my comments on your mod Extra Surplus Info.

I'm not sure if there is an option or settings item related to this.
This behavior just works for me without enabling it or doing anything special.

The notifications are there in the Steam client

What I am looking for is getting Steam to send me an email so that I know to log in
