Assign player ships to allied stations (Blue) as helpers

Is there a way or a mod to do so ??
I keep the five major shipyards loaded with resources and this helps some, but some of the Albion stations still won't receive resources unless player ships deliver them. Simply because there are just not enough A.I. ships to handle the demand.
( I've not even started on OL yet.)

And this is with the Advanced Peace & Allies mod running.
The Gigrum ship losses are near zero and helps a lot as well, but demand is still greater than transportation capabilities even with surplus resources available.

If there was a way to add contract ships to Blue stations for just ore, gas and ice it would be a great help to the economy. But I would like to use all available ships if possible.

What do you guys think ?? :?

You might want to look into those various auto-trader mods. I think some of them allows you to manually set auto-trade routes for some of your ships. You might be able to set some trade routes between NPC stations with your own ships this way.

I've never used any of those mods, though, so I don't know if, and to what extent it is possible.

I looked at this briefly back in february, but the (admittedly basic) experiments didn't work well. With some massaging it might work. Initially I was trying to assign a player owned miner to the H2O plant in devries. If anything interesting comes to mind i'll post it up here.

You can very generally do this with Euclid's Auto Trader mod. This way you can assign one universal storage trader per cluster or sector and have it handle all NPC/player needs. The catch though is it's a little too efficient since it jumps around and basically teleports the items to the stations without need for drones. One is sufficient in my experience per cluster or sector. You also have an option of making it a galaxy trader as well.

MitchTech Station Logistics lets us setup trade routes incorporating NPC stations.
