four in one this time

first off beautiful new entrance to site, have to go into my orgasmatron now ,oooooohhhhhaaaaahhhh thats better. now then anyone knowif factory maximums will stay the same in x2. as they are in xt.
2.goners, anyone know what part if any, the goners will play in x2, apart from fly around,oh yeah the find mine mission.
3. can captured pirate transporters be upgraded more, cargo speed etc. hard to spot? they stood out like sore thumbs.
4. i found it frustrating, after capturing say a xenon orinoco, having to guard it, while it made its way to where i sent it. with no shields usually, it was sitting duck, can we have like a towing tractor beam, that holds captured ship close, while you travel at your current ships max speed, also if captured ship was close enough to you couldn't your shields cover it as well? :D

Regarding point 4 - just beam over the spare shields you should be carrying to equip your captured goodies, some weapons too. And have some escort fighters handy to fend off attackers. I rarely if ever lose a captured ship. Usually I send them to the nearest station for safety and when I have enough form them into an armed and escorted convoy to the nearest shipyard.


To you, the possibility of losing a captured ship is a "problem", to me it's a roleplaying opportunity that adds to my enjoyment. Not against the idea of a tractor beam, but am against the extending shields approach.
