Tweaking rep causes game crash at the end of boardings?

Hi,
I'm playing XR 3.53 with mods loaded.
I have the problem that by using my current Quicksave from a Free Play (and Autosaves) will cause XR to crash towards the end of a boarding (after the last Yisha Sub-mission). I have tried a boarding on several different ships, the game crashes precisely towards the end of the boarding.

I have only edited my savegame once to tweak the PMC reputation, else I did never touch it. I'm also using mods (see list below).

This is what I did in tweaking the rep: I have changed to a new value of 0.016 here below, I didn't change the 'time' value.

As said, that's all I have ever changed in my savegame. My PMC rep was +12 after that.
I was lucky to find a prior savegame that I had just before this tweaking. Boardings here will complete without problems (!)

I would like to know if this rep tweaking is related to my game crashes, because other than my mods that's the only cause I can think of.

The mods I use are:

Mission_Computer_v133
Mission_Computer_Removal_v113
More_Crew_v135
Nidaren_Titurel_Engine_Fix_v106
w.e_BetterAutoAim

Maybe I should have asked:

Did anyone tweak the reputation like above without having any problems afterwards? That's to ask: Will the above rep tweak prevent any game unstability?

a i already said in the previous Topic: relation booster is only for temporary relation changes, so abusing it for permanent ones may have unforseen sindeeffects, especially if there are two contradicting booster values applied (one trying to set it to an absolute positive value, the other trying to set it to an absolute negative value)

if you want to change your relation permanently - change the relation itself, not some other value :roll:
here the line you should look for:
<relation faction="plutarch" relation="-0.5"/>

Also keep in mind that relations are mutual, so you have to change the relation line for the player in the faction node for PMC, too.

and regarding your concern that this may lock relations: as i already said it depends on the presence and value of an locked attribute - which is not present in this case. (to be precise its in the parent node <relations /> and locks all relations for a specific faction, and if you neither add nor remove it the behavior stays the same)

I know you have already anwered me a similar question, and I thought I did all right, but apparently this was not the case. I appreciate that you again have taken the time :)

I'm currently on my laptop, so I don't have my savegames to look at, but IIRC, I only have 'booster' values for plutarch, no absolute value like you suggest here above. But I will have to re-check that, and also check some savegames just after start of Freeplay to see what exactly the values are for this matter.
I think it's possible that I have deleted this 'absolute' entry by accident, although I can hardly believe that, but we all make errors at some point...

Another strange thing I notice, when doing and succeeding the minigame, the rep points dont' increase anymore: I was at +14 with a friendly faction before the minigame, and after success I see the little window with the green arrow pointing upwards, but the points don't change and neither does the bar.

I will have to check and adjust all what you just told here.

Here is the relevant content of my quicksave: the player faction and the plutarch faction.
The player faction has only a booster value for plutarch, the plutarch faction has only a booster value for the player.

Do I need to add a constant <relation faction="player"... in plutarch entry and a <relation faction="plutarch"... in the player entry ?

then i would just add a relation value and perhaps remove the booster - i think in case its not told explicitly the default values from the game start are assumed, and maybe you currently have exactly this value..

Ok, thanks :)
I will first add an appropriate <relation faction=... to both player and plutarch and see what happens. Then, I take away the corrisponding booster values (they should then start from scratch IMO).

I have simply added a <relation faction=... both for plutarch and player faction.
No problems to report. I haven't touched or removed the corrisponding booster entries yet.

Still I have to investigate why my rep doesn't increase anymore with the minigames. I just notice that the 'time' value in some booster entries are considerably high with some factions (see details of my quicksave above).
