the monitors actually monitor eye candy

but they are fully animated. scrolling text. rotating jumpgate blueprints and so on. there are fake information about planets, bio signs, thrusters, gates, and many more.

I noticed too that some cockpits went for a heavy industrialized look with the likes of bolts and rivets, where as others have more of a completed furnishing.

I think this is great because then you can play with the idea of some shipyards rushing ships out en' masse at the sacrifice of having the panel coverings and interiors left to a bare minimum. Where as other shipyards might not produce as many ships but the ones that they do make are finished to perfection. - with all the extra panel coverings etc etc installed.

Was this intentional by the way?
