If the present, preseleted zone is not withing the visable list on the right of the map then pressing <CR> will not do anything. The player must first press UP/DOWN or otherwise get the desired zone visable in the list view before it will become active.

..it would be reasonable if the preselected zone in the list were to automatically cause the list to scroll appropriately (typically up) so that the zone always comes into view, and thus active in the list.

Seems the holomap was designed more for visual use like with a mouse or controller. A bit of fine tuning for keyboard all the way around the holomap would be welcomed.

..just wanted to add that the operation with a controller gives the same result (none) if pressing "A" on when the focus is on a zone which is out of the viewable list. The controller too requires movement to snap the focused list area (out of view) into the viewing area.

Easy example to see what I am trying to describe, simply drop several nav beacons in empty space -- these zones seem to often float to the top of the zone list, which then pushes all the other zones down in the list, out of view.
