Editing save file?

For starters, how do I do it, my mission got bugged and I heard the only way to save is to go into your documents and skip the mission or something and for the life of me I can't figure out how!

Why don't you ask the person who told you that you should edit your save?
To edit a save, simply open it with a text editor (wordpad for example, better than notepad). What you should do after depends on what you mean by "my mission got bugged".

By bugged I mean, the mission at "Joint Operation" and he doesn't know how he did it anymore. How do I skip it?

So yeah I can't get passed "Joint Operations" In that mission for some reason

Nvm that! I managed to find a save file in my list that allowed me to reload the mission for several times and I managed to get passed that plot
