any mods that improve the game performance with dust clouds?

certain areas in the game literally make my computer take a dump in terms of FPS. Any area in the game that has dust clouds seems to kill my FPS regardless of turning AA off, an example Auspicious Excavation, Cryptic Heart, The Sixth Scripture.

Are there any mods that can help improve performance for these resource hog dust clouds?

Rubini's Less Fog might help. Not sure, though.

I actually have that mod, but performance is still being impacted by certain areas within sectors that have huge dust clouds. I look directly at them and go from 30-40 FPS down to 10-15.
