Problem with ships traveling from FO to Albion

For some reason when ever I order a ship through FO to albion they fly way off grid into empty space before turning around and slow boating to the albion gate. They do this IZ and OOZ. Npc ships do this as well. If you have a ship flying to the gate and you stop it to change its orders before having it fly through again it will then turn around and fly back to that empty space zone then turn around again and fly back, even if its sitting right next to the albion gate.
