Getting an error when posting in a thread - resolved by browser cache clearance.

Post by Requiemfang »

I've noticed this issue for the past 2 weeks with this thread. Its impossible to post in it by hitting the reply button when I do I get

the thread: http://forum.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=370582

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database

Only way I found to work around it is to quote someone's post, remove the quote part and post as usual. This is a fine workaround but it would be nice if the issue was looked into as to why that phpbb: critical error is happening for that particular thread.

What browser are you using? I'm not getting any errors with Firefox (40.0a1) 64bit.

Apart from a NoScript one.

I do have no script, but it's very strange if that is affecting only one thread. I'm using basic firefox, although I do have the 64bit version one as well.

The only error I'm seeing from the page layout is:

"An unbalanced tree was written using document.write() causing data from the network to be reparsed."

@ Requiemfang: Clear your browser cache and then forum navigation and replying to those threads should go better after that. Your browser is trying to use probably broken links from the cache rather than freshly-pointed ones.
