Can't switch Y axis. Please help.

Using the left stick on f310 game pad. It is extremely unrealistic to pull back on a flight controller and pitch down. Tried the different settings and still can't invert the Y axis flight control to the way it should have been by default. I have tried settings/controls/invert axis and it doesn't work. Thank you.
